When Hard Disc Bad Sectors are a threat, you get a windows notification like this>>>
If you do not immediately solve this problem with an effective software, it will happen again even if you re-setup your OS. That is why I would suggest you "Eassos Partiton Guru" because it works well. However, these days I found it cannot solve C drive errors but it may be wrong in your case.

After installation, cut the installed folder and paste in different drive when you are looking for bad sectors in any drives. For example, if you are looking to check drive C bad sectors then move the installed folder in drive D or E.
How it works?
Run the software and you will see like this:
Now to check bad sectors, select any drive and then do as the following images:
As you can see in the following image that My C drive is free of bad sectors.
But, I found bad sectors in this same drive before which was repaired as the following image shows>>>
Whenever, you get bad sectors after the verify process, click on the repair option to repair.
